Our 4th commission in this environs brings us designing this residential contemporary smart home.
The clients need for communal living and economical use of space (working with a design of 450sqms and a front set back of 9ms to the building entrance line) brought us to designing with the main living and dining areas, serviced with a kitchen plus it’s guest room on the ground floor.
Allowable cantilever extensions of a mere 1.2ms on the first floor by the estate bore light to 3 more rooms, a cinema and an extensive family lounge. Another alternate stair rises one to the pent floor which houses the master den, a master bed, walk in closet and out door terrace for relaxation.
Large floor to ceiling window fenestrations give ample views round the house and to the pool area on the ground floor accessed via the dining.
Solar panels are used as an alternative source of energy on the roof slab and placed strategically facing the south.
